The network of small and medium sized service providers represents half of the jobs in the industrial park and has a highly qualified workforce. These companies fulfil all demands in terms of training and competences (MASE certificates, training of staff for chemical risks) necessary for working on high risk chemical sites (SEVESO II). Comprising agencies of large groups as well as local companies, this network participates in the general willingness to keep the park economically active and prepare its future.
All these companies have joined together to form the Lacq Plus association. This organisation groups together public sector bodies, economic development organisations, manufacturers and small and medium sized companies. Lacq Plus aims to encourage its members to know each other better and to continue close cooperation with each other.
